Terms of Service for Workout Lab - subscription terms, usage policies, and legal agreements.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Workout Lab (“the app”, “our service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Workout Lab is a fitness tracking application that allows you to log workouts, create templates, track progress, and analyze your training history. The app is available on iOS and may expand to additional platforms in the future.

3. Subscription Terms

Workout Lab offers the following plans:

  • Free: Basic workout logging with limited features.
  • Monthly: Full access for €3.99 per month, billed monthly.
  • Yearly: Full access for €24.99 per year, billed annually.
  • Lifetime: Full access with a one-time payment of €49.99.

Prices shown in EUR. Actual prices may vary by region and platform.

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then.

4. Free Trial

New users receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment information is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you may choose a paid plan or continue using the Free tier.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription infrastructure is managed by RevenueCat. Workout Lab does not directly process, collect, or store any payment information. For billing inquiries, please refer to your respective app store account.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are handled exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple or Google directly through their support channels.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account within the app. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in abusive behavior, or compromise the security or integrity of the service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and the exercise library within Workout Lab are the intellectual property of Workout Lab and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without prior written permission.

You retain full ownership of your workout data. We do not claim any rights over the content you create within the app.

9. User Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Key points:

  • You own your data. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Data export is available at any time via Settings > Export Data.
  • We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable EU data protection laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Workout Lab shall not be liable for:

  • Data loss resulting from technical failures, user error, or service interruptions.
  • Injury or health issues arising from exercises performed based on information in the app. Always consult a qualified medical or fitness professional before starting any exercise program.
  • Service interruptions, whether scheduled for maintenance or caused by unforeseen circumstances.

Workout Lab is a tracking tool and is not a substitute for professional medical or fitness advice.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

Workout Lab is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Where applicable, EU consumer protection regulations take precedence, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under such regulations.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first via the in-app “Send me a Message” feature in Settings. We will attempt to resolve any issues through good-faith negotiation.

If a resolution cannot be reached informally, the courts of Spain shall have jurisdiction. EU residents may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform as an alternative.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are made, we will notify users via the app. Continued use of the app after updates are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
